I’m going to try to post every day in June, since there aren’t enough pictures or posts going on here. So.
Here’s what I made today:

octofrog? frogtopus? He’s green!

This one was a custom order…

This one is pink and almost-gold, sparkly and fuzzy.

Here’s a giant pile, right before APE.

Achooooo!

I made these for my friend Pete.

This is the first octoscarf I made.
It’s crazy photo-post day! I realized I’d been posting pictures mostly to the dorklandia facebook page, and decided to post a bunch here, too.
I’m now a licensed San Francisco Street Artist, for what it’s worth. Once it stops being rainy and nasty every day, you may well find me hanging out on the street with a bunch of new stuffed animals. I’ll post my location on the days I make it out there.
2009 was a really full year! Sunbrothers, Maker Faire, Indie-Mart(s), Renegade Craft Fair(s), APE, Mission Bazaar, Gifty, and Noise Pop, not to mention the Lanesplitters show and that little 40-foot aluminum rocket ship. Pretty fancy! Thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hi and helped me populate the West Coast with octopi and ice creams. I’m looking forward to seeing you all in 2010, very much.

I found this yarn on Saturday, it’s blue and aqua and watery and fuzzy. I think this one is pretty much exactly what I want the cute ones to look like. Now I just have to build a good monster…
mwahahahahahahahahahahaha…

I do believe that every single attendee of Sunday’s event picked up this guy and squeaked. He has a new home, now, too!

This one went to the Indie Mart and found a new home!

(I really really want a better digital camera, that can handle red things without freaking all the way out.)
I am totally besmittened with this one. The body is about the same size as an apricot, cranky teeth, and horns-or-ears. I believe I will make this one again.
Here’s the latest big fuzzy one. Very soft, lots of tidepool colors.
Here is the fruit of a little bit of homework procrastination. He’ll be on sale at the Indie Mart, I’m sure. Fuzzy with little bits of green, somewhat bigger than a softball…
Here’s a pair of new guys, both using yarn I haven’t used before. The peachy rusty one is made with Crystal Palace Puffin yarn, and the green-eyed cream one is made with this strange acrylic-alpaca-wool-nylon blend yarn I found.
Made for the upcoming Indie Mart, yay!
